Violent crimes that land kids in Colorado's youth corrections system are on the rise. In 2022, 43% of young people committed to the system were sent for violent crimes—up from 31% just three years earlier. The statistics are alarming. But behind every statistic is a kid who needed something they weren't getting.
VIBE Nights exists to be that something. Defeating gang involvement and substance abuse is often as simple as providing an alternative. A place to go. Something to do. Adults who see potential instead of problems. That's what Wednesday nights are about.
We need adults who can show up on Wednesday nights ready to engage. That might mean playing basketball with a group of teenagers. It might mean sitting on the sidelines having a real conversation. It might mean being the one consistent adult in a kid's life who doesn't give up on them. You don't need to be a youth pastor or a coach. You just need to be present, reliable, and willing to build relationships over time. If you can commit to Wednesdays, we can put you to work. Volunteer at VIBE Nights

VIBE Nights is part athletics, part hangout, part mentorship—and 100% intentional. Every Wednesday, students show up knowing they'll find:
But the real magic happens in the margins. The side conversations. The car rides home. The moments when a kid opens up because they finally trust the adult in front of them. We're not babysitting. We're building relationships that can redirect a life.
